Thanks for stopping by to meet me. I’ll be as brief as I can.
I am a freelance writer and copy editor. My professional writing career includes creative non-fiction, fiction, narrative history, corporate newsletter and television copy writing.
I have received a Florida Writer’s Association Royal Palm Literary Award for my children’s story, “As Wrong As Wrong Can Be” and a Charlotte Writer’s Club award for best creative non-fiction for my story, “Just for Tonight.”
My first published fiction is a novella titled BANYAN, whose setting is a fictionalized version of the historic Burroughs Home in Fort Myers. BANYAN is available at Amazon.com.
At present, I indulge my love of history by writing narrative histories of Fort Myers, FL, for the Sunday Tropicalia section of the Fort Myers News-Press. You may read these stories here in “History in Cynemascope.”
I have also contracted with The History Press for a book titled Hidden History of Fort Myers, which will be available online and in bookstores in September, 2017.
I’d love to meet you in person at one of my speaking engagements. To book my presentation of “The Impossibly Romantic and Irresistibly Comic History of Fort Myers,” click here.
Thanks again for your interest.
